We want to ensure that our doctoral students are well prepared to transition into their professional careers. Your gift will cover the cost for them to attend professional training and development programs. These programs will help students formulate clear career goals, be introduced to a variety of academic and nonacademic career possibilities, and learn skills needed for managing post-PhD careers.

Your generosity will offset costs associated with travel, lodging, and/or registrations for conferences. Conferences provide valuable opportunities for doctoral students to present papers, observe top scholars in counseling psychology, attend panels relevant to their research and network with members of their field.

Preparing for and conducting the research necessary for a top tier thesis is time consuming and can be costly. Your donation will cover the cost of purchasing data sets, audio / video equipment rentals for interviews, or the purchase of general supplies needed for a thesis defense.
