Translating DSM-5-TR Diagnostics into Interdisciplinary Treatment Frameworks

The DSM-5-TR, published by the American Psychiatric Association, is the global standard for diagnosing mental health disorders. While it offers clear criteria and a shared clinical language, its focus remains on classification rather than individualized care.

This project aims to address that gap by reimagining how DSM-5-TR criteria, specifically for trauma and stress-related disorders, can inform interdisciplinary, patient-centered treatment. By translating diagnostic criteria into practical guides that consider age, culture, neurodiversity, and comorbidity, the goal is to move beyond labels toward more effective, ethical, and personalized mental health care.
