Hello Wonderful Donors,
Team BACTERIA's LaunchUMD campaign officially ended last Friday at noon. We are extremely pleased to announce that we have reached 126% of our goal with $6950. We also received a generous donation of $500 from the Department of Annual Giving for successfully reaching over 121 donors within our campaign period. None of this would have been accomplished without all of the support we have received. With the LaunchUMD money, we are confident that we will be able to fund our entire research project. Our team will be sending out the gifts for each level over the next several weeks. Be on the look out!
Team BACTERIA has been continuing our research efforts in the laboratory. Our team will be sharing our progress at Junior Colloquia this November. Thank you again for the immense support for our research project. We will continue to update you on our progress in the future!

Hello Beautiful People,
Team BACTERIA is grateful to say that we have reached 80% of our goal! Yesterday, 10/22, we were able to receive $660 from 22 donors. Immense thank you to everyone who have supported our campaign.
Last Tuesday, we were given a challenge by LaunchUMD to get 50 additional donors (121 total donors) in order to receive $500 from the Department of Annual Giving. We currently have 100 donors and need 21 more by Friday 10/28 at noon! Please continue to share our campaign to help us accomplish this challenge and reach our goal!
As for our research project, we have officially started lab work. Our team has been testing the asphaltene flocculation rates and plan to begin enzyme work next semester! Here's a picture of team member, Anna, in the lab!
