The C. D. Mote, Jr. Incentive Awards Program (IAP) is designed for exceptional students who demonstrate academic ability, uncommon persistence and maturity despite very difficult circumstances. Through full scholarships and wraparound services, Baltimore City, Prince George's County, and Montgomery County high school students with significant financial need can attend and thrive at the University of Maryland.
More than a prestigious scholarship, at the heart of the Incentive Awards Program is the development of individual character and community responsibility within an intimate network of staff, peers, advisors and mentors.
Scholars thrive while on campus, excelling academically and digging into the array of activities and then graduate and pursue professional careers or advanced degrees.
This fund supports all Incentive Awards Program programs and initiatives.
Gifts in support of the University of Maryland are accepted and managed by the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, Inc., an affiliated 501(c)(3) organization authorized by the Board of Regents.
