The mission of the Nyumburu Cultural Center is to promote an understanding of and appreciation for African-American Culture in all of its richness and complexity. The Nyumburu Cultural Center strives to improve the life for African-American students and students of the African Diaspora, both undergraduate and graduate.
In honor of the Nyumburu Cultural Center's upcoming 50th anniversary, Nyumburu is partnering with the University of Maryland Black Alumni (UMBA) to raise support for the Nyumburu Cultural Center Programming Fund.
Your special gift today, on Giving Tuesday, to the Nyumburu Cultural Center Programming Fund will support our mission to serve and educate students, as well as the surrounding University of Maryland community about African and African Diaspora oriented cultures.
