Hello all,
Our project launched on SpaceX-12 on August 14th. Check out some pictures attached! (Unfortunately, only one of us could make it to Florida).
We are currently working on our Ground Control tube, and are awaiting news for harvesting our results from the flight. We are excited to see how our experiment performed in space.
Last but not least, here are some media we were featured in! Thank you again for supporting us! This project has been a journey and we couldn't have done it without you.

Hi all,
We wish to thank you again for supporting our project! After the long way, last week we finally sent our project over to Nanoracks in Texas who will be managing our payload for the launch. Our project is scheduled to launch on SpaceX-12 on August 13th in Cape Canaveral, FL. We will send you pictures of this launch once it has happened. In addition, we were recently interviewed by NBC4 and WJZ Baltimore along with other UMD research groups who are sending projects up to the International Space Station. Keep an eye out for that story soon...
Thank you for sharing, supporting and donating to our project. Stay tuned for more updates!
Onwards and upwards,
Stacey and Colton
Hi everyone,
We are 8 days into our campaign... and we have reached our goal of $2000! We are sincerely overwhelmed and thank you all for your support and contributions. Our campaign will still be live for the next 23 days, so please keep spreading the word. Any additional funds will help us improve our post-analysis resources. Thank you very much once again!
