Phi Sigma Delta Memorial Fundraiser

This Launch project honors the memory and legacy of our deceased fraternity brothers whose leadership, service, and brotherhood left a lasting impact on our chapter and community. Funds raised will support the Maryland Hillel Capital Campaign and the new Ben & Esther Rosenbloom Hillel Center for Jewish Life, helping establish a meaningful tribute by naming a space within the new building in their memory. Through this memorial initiative, we celebrate their lives and ensure their contributions continue to inspire future generations.

Ian Horowitz: 
Ian Horowitz was truly larger than life. Strong, gentle, funny, and full of energy, he had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him feel welcome and cared for. Known for his unforgettable hugs and unwavering support, Ian was always there for anyone in need. Above all, he was a devoted husband and father who loved his family wholeheartedly, and that love was returned just as fiercely. He is forever loved, deeply missed, and remembered by all who knew him.

Ron Dekelbaum:
Ron Dekelbaum had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. Highly intelligent and quick with a wry joke or witty remark, he brought humor and lightness to every conversation. His carefree spirit, sharp mind, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He is forever loved, deeply missed, and fondly remembered.

Alexi Zetner: 
Alexi Zentner embodied the spirit of a true Philadelphia native—confident, charismatic, and unforgettable. Whether talking sports, spending time with friends, or simply bringing his unique energy to every room, Alexi left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Authentic, loyal, and deeply caring, he was the kind of friend people could always count on. His memory continues to live on in the countless lives he touched, and he is deeply missed by all who knew him.


Michael Herman: 
Michael Herman was, in many ways, the best of us. He possessed a rare combination of kindness, confidence, and humility that made him truly exceptional. Even from a young age, Michael carried himself with a quiet self-assurance, never feeling the need to prove himself to others. He treated everyone with respect, never judged, and radiated a strength and warmth that drew people to him. His presence lit up every room, and his impact on those around him will never be forgotten. He is forever loved and deeply missed.
