Who You're Supporting
We're a team of undergraduate students spending our free time designing and building a car to compete. Why? We want to become better engineers. Our Terps get their hands dirty with hands-on experience that sets us up to land internships and become engineering leaders.
Our Accomplishments & the Competition
Last season, we successfully competed in dynamic events: Acceleration, Skidpad, and Endurance -- a major milestone demonstrating reliability and performance! We placed 17th in Acceleration at the FSAE EV Competition and 4th in Engineering Design at the Formula Hybrid+Electric Competition amongst well-established teams that have been winning for years. To keep up this momentum, we need your help.
Why Support Us?
Due to recent funding cuts, our team can no longer afford to attend the Formula Hybrid+Electric competition in New Hampshire -- an event we've competed in for years. These cuts also limit our ability to manufacture a better, more competitive car for the Formula SAE Electric competition in Michigan. We know we can deliver our strongest season yet, but we need your help to get there.
Where Your Donation Goes
Donations will fund competition registration fees ($2,500), travel expenses, tools and safety equipment, and the manufacturing of critical components for our race car.
