Animal Sciences Graduate Student Fundraising 2025

Help us fundraise to support Animal and Avian Sciences (ANSC) graduate student initiatives and research projects. 

The funds raised will be directed by our department chair towards scholarships and travel grants to provide critical support for our talented graduate students. Our graduate students are involved in researching a wide variety of important contemporary topics in animal and avian sciences spanning reproduction and development, nutrient utilization and metabolism, pathobiology and infectious diseases, genetics and cell biology, and behavior and well-being (https://ansc.umd.edu/graduate/). Your support will ensure that our graduate students will have continued support towards their research projects, which are critical to keep pace with the emerging issues in animal sciences, and diseases and threats to our animal production systems. This year our goal is to raise $25,000 towards supporting some of the immediate needs of our ANSC graduate students, and hopefully start building some reserves for the future.
