Your Gift Supports Underrepresented Students Toward Earth Research Careers
Invest in the next generation of researchers who will tackle humanity's grand challenges: climate change, deforestation, biodiversity loss, food insecurity, natural disasters, and more.
The Department of Geographical Sciences has developed a series of high school programs to ignite students' passion for geographical sciences and cultivate a deeper understanding of important issues for Earth and humanity.
Through engaging and interactive activities, our programs offer high school students the opportunity to explore the multifaceted aspects of geographical sciences.
Your gift to the High School Hub will allow us to:
- Outreach to public schools to recognize high school students who stand out in geographical sciences.
- Bring high school students for a day of activities at the Department of Geographical Sciences.
- Provide paid internships to highly motivated students focusing on university-level, geographical science research.
The High School Hub has grown directly in response to the enthusiasm and need of our initial cohorts of high school students. On their behalf, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your support!
