Gemstone's Team GABA (Gastro-intestinal health, Abuse, and changes in the Brain Activity) mission is to uncover how childhood stress and current academic stress are impacting the gut health and success of college students here at UMD. Our research focuses on discovering how stress effects both mental and physical health, and determining the connection between the gut-brain axis. We aim to illuminate these hidden struggles and help improve resources for students who are battling both stress and GI issues. Your donations will help ensure that we have funding to reach the entirety of campus, and the materials to complete our research.
