Send Maryland Eventing Team To Intercollegiate Championships

The Maryland Eventing Team (MET) consists of a small group of dedicated Eventers. Eventing is a three-phase equestrian sport that includes dressage, show jumping, and cross country. After a sever-year hiatus, MET is back and rebuilding a team of competitive riders. However, MET is not limited to students with horses and offers several ways to get involved as an active, non-riding member. To continue growing our team on a solid foundation, the Maryland Eventing Team heavily depends on outside donations and fundraising work. One of the team's goals is to attend the USEA intercollegiate championships to compete against other schools and to continue to compete across Area II (Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia). As college students, MET's riders can have difficulty balancing school, riding, extracurriculars and jobs. Supporting the Maryland Eventing Team allows our devoted riders to continue to follow their passion and build a better future for the sport of Eventing, which is rooted in community and developing passionate horsemen/women.
