Public Health Practice seniors complete a full-time capstone internship their final semester before graduation. While the internship work experience proves to be invaluable for students, it can present financial hardship, as these internships are often unpaid, require self-funded transportation and parking and leave little room for students to maintain employment during the semester.
Eta Sigma Gamma is launching a fundraising campaign to benefit PHP seniors while in their internships. PHP interns often need support in bridging finances during the internship semester including food, transportation, parking and housing costs. Our goal is to provide a $500 stipend for every intern to assist with these costs.
