NOMAS UMD (The National Organization of Minority Architecture Students: UMD Chapter) is a student chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) professional organization. NOMAS UMD supports minority students within UMD's School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, and has reached other departments as well. Each year, NOMA hosts an annual conference for student and professional members of NOMA, to celebrate minority architectural excellence through various seminars, events, awards, student design competition, and more. This year's conference is special for NOMAS UMD, not only because the conference is local in Baltimore, Maryland, we also have the opportunity this year to send more of our members than ever before! We are currently seeking financial support for our members attending the conference for registration costs, lodging, and other daily expenses while on our trip.
