Our Crowdfunding Groups
We need your support to help give our University of Maryland Women's Basketball team the opportunity of a lifetime in August 2016! The trip will provide a weeklong tour of Italy, including stops in Rome, Florence, and Lake Como. Our student-athletes will have the opportunity to enhance their education while accruing independent study credits overseas. They will also have the chance to showcase their skills at the highest level against foreign competition.
Our student-athletes work extremely hard year-round, both on the court and in the classroom. The majority of our athletes take classes in both summer sessions, and rarely have time in their schedules for a major trip. By incorporating educational experiences into our trip, our student-athletes will be able to continue their academic studies and explore a new part of the world at the same time.
This will be the first foreign trip for our team since the 2006 National Championship team toured Europe after the NCAA Tournament.
Gifts in support of the University of Maryland are accepted and managed by the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, Inc., an affiliated 501(c)(3) organization authorized by the Board of Regents.
