What is LABash?
LABash is an annual student-run Landscape Architecture conference hosted annually since 1970. Returning in-person for the first time in 2 years, LABash2022 will take place at the Louisiana State University from March 31st - April 2nd, 2022. The three-day conference features lectures from professors and professionals, design workshops, charrettes, and ample networking opportunities. Specialized workshops allow students to expand upon their skill set and prepare them to enter the professional force.

SASLA's Goal
Conferences are huge opportunities that often come with a decent expense. SASLA aims to fully alleviate the hotel accommodation and conference registration costs for our group. So far, 13 students have personally committed over $3000 in registration and travel. They have worked diligently --participating in fundraising events, and applying for and receiving grant aid to attend LABash. These efforts brought us just over $1000. We are $3500 shy of achieving what we set out to do and we need your help! Your donations will go towards hotel accommodation and registration fees. If we exceed our goal, we could even provide aid for student travel costs.

Your donation can help change students’ lives and kickstart their careers! In the past, SASLA members walked away from the conference with internship offers and countless networking contacts but most importantly a renewed drive and spirit to succeed. Contributing to our project will help SASLA continue to fulfill our mission providing opportunities for self-development!
