Our Crowdfunding Groups
This Giving Tuesday help us provide $1,000 scholarships to as many future teachers as we can. These scholarships help students bridge the gap between the remaining balance on their student accounts after FASA (average need after federal aid is more than $8,000). Additionally, they often help our seniors cover the cost of extra expenses like transportation for student teaching, and their certification and testing fees (which cost nearly $1,000 in the state of Maryland).
Gifts in support of the University of Maryland are accepted and managed by the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, Inc., an affiliated 501(c)(3) organization authorized by the Board of Regents.
