Hear personally from Denisa how the scholarship impacted her:

"As a parent, going back to college is a really big deal. It's not easy to add a huge responsibility to the list of to-do's one already has as a mom or dad. Receiving a Newcombe scholarship made the responsibility easier to manage. It has helped me afford some of my expenses as a mother and student. Without the financial assistance of scholarships such as the Newcombe scholarship, many students would not be able to afford a college education. Receiving the Newcombe scholarship has not only changed my life, but it is ultimately helping me change my daughters' futures as well. I will finally be able to provide for them in the way that they deserve, and for that, I am forever grateful to the Newcombe foundation."
