Join the global generosity movement and support the Arts and Humanities at Maryland! Your gift to the Arts & Humanities Scholarship Fund is a critical resource for students who face unexpected expenses. Whether a dream internship opportunity with unplanned transportation expenses or extra textbook costs for that must-take class with a favorite professor, the ARHU Scholarship Fund helps our students make the most of their ARHU education.
Last summer, Jamie Dick ’20 was able to offset the cost of traveling to and from his internship with The Samaritan Women, an organization in Baltimore that operates shelter programs for women recovering from trafficking. Donate to the ARHU Scholarship Fund to support students like Jamie who want to give back to the community. Learn more about Jamie's experience: go.umd.edu/iwG

What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. The date was chosen as a balance to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
