Our Crowdfunding Groups
We are a competitive sport club comprised of over 50 young women who are full time undergraduate students here at the University of Maryland. We have been a sport club for a long time and are open to anyone who wishes to play competitively or just learn more about volleyball! We are self-coached, self-funded and self-driven young women who love our sport and work hard every practice to compete at a high level. We practice 3 days a week and compete in several home tournaments throughout the semester, and we encourage new members to come out and join our club!
Every year, our team travels to the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation National Championship tournament to compete against other high level club teams from around the country. This year, the tournament will be held very soon in Kansas City, MO from April 13-15. Over 400 teams from across the country will be traveling to compete in the largest collegiate club volleyball tournament in the United States.
This year, two women's teams will fly to KC and represent Maryland Pride. We started this Launch to fundraise for the airfare, hotel expenses, and entry fees for both teams. Our goal is to raise $3,000 in 26 days to cover the remaining portion of our expenses so all 19 of our dedicated, hard working teammates get to compete at NCVF Nationals.
